Building Community Together
James Bay Community Project is a non-profit community organization helping seniors, youth and families by providing counselling services, community support and volunteer services. JBCP has several tenants providing services to the community: Whiteye Community Healthcare Centre, LifeLabs, HerWay Home, the Victoria Health Co-operative,and other independent providers of health services.
**NEW** Chair Yoga
Chair yoga is ideal for seniors, pregnant women and anyone lacking the balance or physical strength to tolerate a traditional yoga class. Music will be used and the tone of the class is fun and somewhat social, making it great for people in need of connection and not ideal for people who are sensitive to sound.
This class will be limited to 15 participants.
October 15 – December 10, 2018
$5.00 Drop In fee
Free for JBCP and CCV volunteers
Have you seen our little children’s garden bench?
Lovingly made by one of our generous volunteers who donated his time and materials to make a bench for our children’s playground and garden.
It has been missing from our Family Centre playground since the end of August 2018 (along with some Little Tykes plastic play equipment).
Please contact us at 250-388-7844 Ext 313 or email@example.com if you have seen it. We would love to have it returned! Thank you.

As a result of the program I have met other parents and made good friends in the neighbourhood. It’s an excellent resource for parents.
