JBCP BUILDING REMAINS CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19, WE WILL RE-OPEN WHEN SAFE & APPROPRIATE

While the James Bay Community Project space at 547 Michigan currently remains closed as a gathering place due to COVID-19, the staff at the JBCP continues to work with our participants and volunteers both virtually online, in person on the phone, and with volunteers making deliveries.
We are looking ahead to how and when we might be able to safely re-open and welcome our volunteers and participants in ways to keep everyone safe and healthy.
We never stop thinking of all the people in our extended community — participants, volunteers, supporters — and we look forward to when we all meet again.
Outreach workers are still available to their existing participants by phone and email.
The Community Closet Thrift Store is scheduled to OPEN in early June with reduced hours 11am – 4pm, Tuesday through Saturday. PLEASE CHECK OUR WEBSITE FOR NEWS OF THE OPENING DATE!
James Bay Community Project and Capital City Volunteers will restart programs when it is appropriate. Keep checking this website and the JBCP Facebook page, and we’ll let you know when that happens.
Until that time, please stay safe.
