Here’s a challenge from JBCP Board Member, George Jamieson:
“As a volunteer and a director of the James Bay Community Project, I’ve learned how important financial support from the community is. Every donation helps us make a difference with our participants, in our building and across our community. Thank you.
I’d like to inspire a bit more support, with a challenge.
To the first five people who donate $100 to the James Bay Community Project and mention this challenge, I’ll match your donations, and I’ll give you a Thrifty Foods Fundraising Smile Card, pre-loaded with $10.
Here are some details on how to donate:
*Using the “Donate” button on this site’s home page.
*In person during business hours, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday with cash, cheque, VISA or MasterCard.
*By phone with your VISA or MasterCard number. We can be reached at 250-388-7844 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
*By mail to The James Bay Community Project, 547 Michigan St., Victoria, BC V8V 1S5. You can mail a cheque or fill out a donations form with your charge card information.
*Online giving with your charge card by using CanadaHelps, a secure on-line method to make a contribution.
Our donations will work together to support programs at the James Bay Community Project, and you can continue to support us in the future, as you buy groceries.
Take up the challenge… everybody benefits.
Here’s some math to encourage you further: For your donation of $100, you’ll receive a tax credit of $15. With the $10 on your Thrifty Fundraising Smile card, your total return is $25.
Thank you, and all the best to you from all of us at JBCP.”Share
