Meditation and Self-Knowledge
Jan 26 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

**ON HOLD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO COVID-19** The class is divided into a 20-30 minute meditation followed by a lecture style class teaching a Vedanta text. Vedanta is a means to understanding the reality of nonduality behind the phenomenal world. It is a tradition of teaching from the Vedas, which are ancient Sanskrit scriptures of India that form the philosophical basis of Hinduism. The meditation is directly connected to this style of teaching, as it involves getting in touch with one’s essential self and seeing directly what we are studying in the text.

The weekly classes form a continuity and are not suited to an occasional drop in but rather for those that can, as much as possible, come every week.
