The Coordinator plans, administers, monitors, and evaluates the day-to-day operations of the JBCP’s small Thrift Store (Community Closet), working with volunteers, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. The Coordinator processes, displays, and prices donated items to ensure a reasonable financial return on the sale of store items; assists customers in a polite and friendly manner; prepares store displays that are attractive, neat, and orderly; rotates and re-stocks store merchandise to ensure quick turnover; ensures the accountability and security of all store items and funds. The Coordinator is responsible for cash draw, close out and accounting integrity, and trains and supervises volunteers.                   

Job Classification & Wage Rate:  BCGEU-Health Services & Support – Community Subsector. Grid Level 30.  Step 1 – $23.24 per hour. Reports to: Executive Director

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Some flexibility required occasionally on Saturdays.
