The James Bay Community Project (JBCP) is looking for a part-time Family Resource Worker for 21 hours per week.

This permanent position works as part of a collaborative team to support children and their families to establish and achieve realistic goals. It provides support, information, resources, mediation and advocacy to children and families referred by both the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) and the community. The position works collaboratively with colleagues to ensure delivery of programs and services at James Bay Community Project and provides parent and child education programs under MCFD contract. The successful candidate will have a relevant Bachelor’s degree and experience in family outreach work, including experience working with high-risk families. The hourly starting wage rate is $25.37, with an excellent benefits package following successful completion of the probation period.
