JBCP Community Library

Community Library

Through a partnership with the City of Victoria and the Greater Victoria Public Library, our volunteers operate a community library which is open from 10:00 -4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Patrons are asked to register on their first visit. A Greater Victoria Public Library card is necessary to take out hardcover books; however anyone may take out paperbacks.

There are thousands of books in the library including books from the greater Victoria Public Library, mysteries, large print, non-fiction, romance, local history, fiction, story tapes and cook books. There is also a health care library containing books, videos and tapes, and a public access computer terminal provided through the Community Access Program.

Woman Knitting

There are two computers available for community use Monday to Friday 8:30-4:00 pm. The one located in the library is also used by volunteer computer instructors to give basic computer lessons to those who want them.
